Why a Mini Golf Course?

Goshe Mini-Golf has been a dream of mine since we moved to Bottineau in 2008—one rooted in the simple joy of growing up in a place filled with things to do. I grew up near a bustling provincial park in Saskatchewan, Canada, where mini-golf courses, water slides, horseback riding, go carts, and 18-hole golf course brought families together and filled summers with excitement.

Over the years, I felt that Lake Metagoshe was missing a little piece of that magic—something fun, welcoming, and full of life. I wanted to create a place where families could make memories, where kids could laugh and explore, and where the community could gather for a bit of lighthearted adventure.

Starting this mini-golf course isn’t just a business for us—it’s a heartfelt way to give back to a community we care deeply about, and to bring a spark of excitement we’ve always wished to see here.
